Subject: Bargain or Robbed? You decide

There is something fundamentally wrong with your approach to the game, which is the same for most of the old guard. You know the stats are flawed gibbage as you were here from the start and your early titles speak little.

Happy for others not take on opinions, it's why teams like ermejo, wdp, phil, myself etc are catching up and overtaking you. Fine by us :)

Despite stats being flawed, I've still won 3 prem titles in the past 6 seasons, which is more than anyone else has full stop!

If Phil spent the money he has properly then nobody would touch him for 5+ seasons.

Problem is if Phil did spend his money to the full, he would have an uber team but it would be one that would actually end up getting worse as there is little profit to be made on most players which cost £5-6m area. I think phil is attached to his money too, he actually has a vault and swims in it I heard.

I heard he does other things in it which are too rude to post here.

I'd argue that it is more than possible to make more per season on older players. Also that there are more guarantees of talent on older players, thanfresh pulls who may only have had a couple of weeks in their youth squads.

But I never claimed to be brilliant in this game. I've won nothing, and as yet,neither have you. ;)

As for teams overtaking, it's because the game is well balanced that older players have been caught, not because they are doing anything particularly badly. Instead of congratulating yourself for acheiving 2nd place in series II, behind one of the old guard, you should congratulate the developers :)

Looks ok to me, jimmy and Phil will tell you that you were massively robbed though, because Phil once bought a 16 year old messi for 12 pence.

actually, maybe he's a little too old to allow you to do what you want.

I wouldn't bother using up the passing training slot on him. You could buy a player with much more potential if you spent the money on a younger player.

As for the price, seems ok ish for the defender, assuming he is needed for the first XI.

OK price, defender training would be better though.

In all seriousnes though he is an amazing player and I am not sure what to make of the price based on the fact there are so few players like that around!

He's probably worth 2 of whatever you can get for half the price.

Although I suppose it depends on what view you take on the effect of form. I'm assuming that you hope his form comes good, or that it won't have that major an impact on a player that good.

He isn't in useless form though, so hopefully it will improve. Be a monster when in divine form.
