Subject: Bargain or Robbed? You decide

I heard that Phil bought a player with the same skills in week 2 for 25 pence and a bag of ready salted crisps, so it's a massive robbery.

Or alternatively, 25 total skills equals approximately level 8 solid youth pull ? Is that how it works ? So provided he had a short stay in the youth squad likely to be talented ?

I don't have the patience for this kind of player, but I suspect you will make some money on him. How long will you train him for ?

Guessing he sold him on for £4.5m the week after?

He actually has 28 skill points (27 when I bought him) so I'm pretty hopeful of talent. Will sell to a pace trainer when all other MID skills are trained.

If you go back to the older days players like that were selling for 10mill+.

Agree on your age findings too, pace drops a lot faster than any other skill. I don't worry about it anymore though.

I'd say bargain there are very few players like that. You wOnt ever make your money back though.

probably works out at about 800 k per useful season. so yeah, not bad :).

Would be ok if he could win a game and get the fans through the gates.....but they are unhappy with his uninspired showings this season to date. ;)
