Subject: Bargain or Robbed? You decide

2007-06-25 11:40:08
bought this guy for £482k

Rudolf Chyliński, age: 22
value: 156 150 £, wage: 1 290 £
club: Celtic Wanderers, country: Polska
incredible form, weak tactical discipline

solid stamina, tragic keeper
excellent pace, formidable defender
weak technique, adequate playmaker
weak passing, excellent striker

will probably be training 5weeks of tech, 5 weeks of defender and the rest passing next season.
2007-06-25 11:41:11
Got to be a bargain if you train tech most of the season i'd say.
2007-06-25 11:42:51
probably only get him to good at best.
2007-06-25 12:44:33
I was interested aswell, but as a defender the excellent striker skill was a waste of money.
would not call him a bargain, but also not robbed.
2007-06-25 12:51:53
Yeah I thought that but he could play up front in a pinch
2007-06-27 22:36:34
£850k, quite talented as he used to belong to Redjim and I know he wouldnt rip off a fellow English user. I am training pace this season the def the season after. Then he may get a year of tech after that. Opinions?

Jimmy Bryan, age: 18
value: 184 050 £, wage: 810 £
club: AFC Bramford Lane, country: England
unearthly form, hopeless tactical discipline

weak stamina, hopeless keeper
weak pace, brilliant defender
weak technique, adequate playmaker
unsatisfactory passing, solid striker
2007-06-27 22:59:46
Slightly overpriced imo if you are going to train him in def. Could turn out well though
2007-06-27 23:04:32
Robbed. Secondaries are a real let down. Plus he came from a useless team ;).
2007-06-28 00:04:15
I agree with you Gibby tbh, but I just couldnt resist! He will be my first top quality talented English trainee!! I am sure he will be ok in the end, and even if he doesnt train too well I could always get my money back on him after a season of pace training :)

...he used to belong to Redjim and I know he wouldnt rip off a fellow English user.

Would this be an opportune moment to rub my hands together and cackle manically?

If you get his pace and technique up and sell him as a 20 or 21 year old still-to-be-trained by someone else, you'll make a packet (not that I'd have any ulterior motive in that!). Less so £-wise if you keep him till he's ancient.

Slightly different to normal. Just sold a player and i thought they paid way over the normal price (171 000 £). Am i right in thinking this?

with a lot of training he could be a good striker. they would have to be patient though.
