I think you did pretty well there only problem is his unsatisfactory form, for a striker that can mean he won't score many goals for a while until his form improves.

Aye, but a bit of a no-brainer when it comes to buying the guy. He's a steal!

I paid £437k for this guy and I though I think I overpaid I had just sold a similar defender/mid (albeit with decent stamina) for 800-oddk so figure I'm ahead.

Keen to know what other people think as this is my first real foray into spending serious wedge.

I don't know how much playmaking and passing comes in for a striker, and he could do with the skills he has in that to be in pace and technique but he's a useful striker.

I'd say normal price.

He could be interesting as part of a front 2 played as MID. get his stamina up, maybe get lucky with a tech and pace pop, and he'll sell on well too.

Well, it would be no fun if after 3 seasons he was still around hopeless form ;)

I would count that money not well spent.

i hope he will..as my other strikers are not scoring :(

£1.3m. I know he is old (29), and I know he is injured (9 days). But he is far above my other strikers, and even if he starts to decline at 1 level drop a season he will still be my best striker for 3 seasons!!!! Opinions?
