Subject: Bargain or Robbed? You decide

Probably not much more, he isn't strong enough in any "main" skill.
2007-08-23 17:06:53
yeah, but has high tech and can be trained in whatever you want :)
2007-08-23 17:07:33
then train him and make some money.
2007-08-23 17:13:12
i am training tech.. so.......

nevermind..if i make 400-450k it will be enough
2007-08-23 17:18:39
I don't think you'll get that for him.

Piotr Paszulewicz, age: 24
value: 85 650 £, wage: 1 425 £
club: World AllStars XI, country: Polska
tragic form, weak tactical discipline
bookings:

very good stamina, hopeless keeper
solid pace, solid defender
adequate technique, average playmaker
good passing, formidable striker

forked out 401k for him and hopefully he will solve my striking crisis. He looks pretty well all rounded for me but maybe not as higher tech as i would have liked and i think i can get his pace up a bit despite him being 24. I think i paid a little over for him what do you think?
2007-08-23 22:05:29
I would say that you paid around £50-£100k too much. But with more pace he would be worth it. Tech is very important in strikers, but he will get you into the higher leagues no problem, its just after that he wouldnt really do that good of a job.
2007-08-23 22:22:57
yeh well i bought him primarily so i can stay in div 3 this season and then hopefully i can use him as a spearhead for a promotion push in a few seasons.
2007-08-23 22:24:42
Then he is exactly the kind of player you need, so in that case you paid the right amount for him as it is an amount that you were willing to pay :)

Oskar Jerzak, age: 23
value: 69 300 £, wage: 960 £
club: Longfield Tigers, country: Polska
average form, hopeless tactical discipline
bookings:

formidable stamina, hopeless keeper
average pace, adequate defender
hopeless technique, good playmaker
good passing, hopeless striker

Got this guy for 19k. Am training technique next on my strikers so I hope he will improve in that and then sell on at a profit?

Was bought by a daytrader a few weeks ago for 37k, so I am hopeful he could be a bargain?
2007-08-24 16:56:21
hmm. He's 23. Which means that after this season, he's not going to progress in anything much all that quickly. If you can get him to weak tech by the end of the season, maybe get a random in passing, I'd try to unload at the start of next season with a starting price of 100k, working on the theory that every player with "good" skills always gets at least 2 bids when the price is under 150k.
2007-08-24 16:58:59
I'll try that then, I am doing technique from after next weeks training, so hopefully that could happen. Either way it was only a cheap purchase to enable me to train some younger mids while I complete the technique training on my strikers. ;)

Friendly advice - Sell him and buy someone younger. He is clearly too old already. Few extra tech skills really doesn`t change his value, because his technique is already too low. And imo you overpaid him. I am sure you could buy similar 18-19 player with the same price.
And if you are looking a player to play for you subs, then I suggest buying a striker with low tech and using him as a MID. Adding some tech skills to striker would be financially more useful, then adding few on mid. But that`s just only my opinion and I might be wrong.

Best regards, V.

Ok cheers for that. ;)

don't listen to NCN though. He chews corn, loves tractors and sausages.
