the guy i bought is for tech until the end of season end then striker a whole season-basically a backup player

yours needs striker training for 1 and a half seasons minimum, and tech for a season to realise a great value, I would say. I'll be training defender after pace so hopefully I can get him up to average over the next 2 or 3 seasons.

I bought him using my mobile while waiting for the wife to finish work. Something tells me I'm taking this game too seriously.

A bit strange this one, only bought to bolster mid numbers for 3 or 4 seasons so am not too worried about selling him on. At the moment he is good enough to push for a first team spot if I play 4 mids at any point. A mid only a couple of years younger would cost nearer £1m so I am happy to pay £353k, and he shouldnt start to lose skills for at least 2 more seasons I think. So, what do you lot think?

I bought a 29 year old with these skills for 450k :

so I'd say you got a bargain. However, I wouldn't have bought him, not enough defender for me.

He will play as a winger if he does play. And I figure that he will be good enough to help my team get through a few rounds of the cup as he will probably be alot better than most of the lower league mids around. My first team mids have very good, very good and outstanding def at the moment so he will be mainly a reserve mid all season.

If he stops your first team wingers getting injured in a cup match and gets you through, then he's an absolute steal.

mmmm all my players have at least average def except one striker

Normally mine do too, but I saw him at that price and had to buy him :)
