Just 5 matches remain this season, anybody got any difficult games today?

My lot lead their division by 5pts with the 2nd placed team seemingly intent on "camping" and thus it doesn't at all matter what I end up doing (as they seem intent on losing when they "need" to).

So in light of that, I'm having some "fun" with my lineup today ;-)

I've given up on my season. I barely have 11 A team players. Line-up is set , it might be enough against some of the weaker opposition.

Did you expect to go up this season?

To be honest. Yes. I mean I didn't think it would be easy. And that was probably my my downfall. Uranus Fire was the only real danger side.

We are of course ignoring my tactical flaws for the past 3-4 years...

Coasted to an easy 6-0 win over Old Barkabbians. Old Evertonians lost 2-0 to Herbs. JPK lost 6-4 for Crimson Idol. 7 point lead at the top of the table, surely now even I can't mess things up with an almost guaranteed win against phil still to come, meaning I have to win 1 of the 3 other remaining fixtures to get title 10.

Well, that all but wraps it up for the 2nd season running :-) We are now 8pts clear with just 4 matches remaining...

Had a nice 3-0 win against DLR Reserves...... we usually end up drawing every time!

Managed to field a full 1st team for the 1st time this season, with only 2 slight injuries and won, happy with that. :P

It's a bit of a shame that the season hasn't just finished because my current playoff opponent would be an unmanaged team with marginally worse ratings than us. That would have to give us a really decent chance of promoting into L2. However, in the 4 matches between now and then I'm sure we can wrangle a really good opponent :-( Promoting into L2 would be really odd as I could end up playing a team like Armitage Shanks who have been around years longer than us ... I dread to think how badly they would be able to beat us ... lol ... Anyway, that's a long way off, I mean, we have to promote first :-)

I have to be any good to do that. It might have sold all my best players since then.

I've got £7m to spend at the moment, and i always take ages to spend my cash.
