Rating wise I think the highest that can be sustained in the long run is around the 70 mark. 75+ is unsustainable most likely in most cases.

You'd certainly have to have a bit of luck with youths and/or buys with young talent to sustain a 75+ rating.

With Old Evertonians having cash and a decent team too it shows how far off the top i now am :(

I was actually pretty close at one stage but just not enough young talent and too much training missed does make a difference.

I had a barren run for a long long time with juniors. I had 2 in one go and it took 10+ seasons to get another decent junior. Since then I've had a pretty good run on them (5 of them played for England U21, two have made it to the full England setup without being shoehorned in for special games, 1 more might possibly get to full England status before too long). In theory you could get a 3m+ value junior every season. About as likely as certain people getting unearthly coaches with the coach select button though.

Funny you should mention coach select - I just popped over to the button to play the lottery and got an unearthly on my second attempt.. £35k a week, but I will dump one of my £22k magicals to make room for him.

Certainly improves my average spend per unearthly.. Now to pull a £3m junior tomorrow.
