Subject: Qualifiers 1/12

So I have to find a way past luzik if I want to promote to L2. They will almost certainly have an average rating better than us so fingers crossed I can fluke my way past them ;-)

That being said, if we achieve the minor miracle, all I would have to look forward to would be horse whippings every week ... not a very appealing reward if you ask me ... lol ...

Beating Forest gave me Elmstead instead of Uranus, lucky escape maybe. :) Trying to rebuild really, but can't help havin' a go lol

The flip side for Uranus though would have been you would have known exactly what to expect from them. Likely to go bot.

He's been on a bad run 2nd half of the season. Ignoring game against phil, 2 draws, 4 losses.

So the day of the qualifiers has arrived.

I can't wait for kick off. The last time I had to play a team from II.02 in a qualifier, Padstow Rovers beat us 6-0!

Yet, I'm rather optimistic. My current opponents aren't as good as Padstow Rovers and also have 3 players missing through suspension. On top of which, I were missing one of my better players in that qualifier as well. So the bottom line is that I have been given a chance at least, the question is will my players be good enough to seize the moment?

What a horrible way to end the season, truly gutted :-( My opponents rating was 10 more than mine but you would never have known it.

Ok, I only lost my qualifier 2-0 with my opponent scoring their 2nd in something like the 88nd minute BUT I had a player sent off for a straight red in just the 3rd minute of the game ... geez, thanks for ruining my season ref!?! :-(

So even with 1 player more and 10 rating average more, it were 6 shots to 6. Plus, their 1st goal was annoying the way it happened as well.

Well and truly deflated ...

Fairly easy game for me, no shots against is ok for me.

Hard luck. It's the way it goes sometimes.

Shout out to DJJUT for promoting to the Premier League.

Thanks guys, it was a tough game having 10 men from the 7th min due to my red carded DEF. The 2-5-2 formation held up okay for the rest of the game but it was by no means pretty lol.

good season...but again unlucky...it looks like we will go together next year...gutted by the game :(
