Subject: FA Cup - Season 34

Looks the same, tastes the same, but we all know otherwise.

I managed to edge thru on penalties in a pulsating game.

2-2 at FT. 3-3 AET (0-2 down and went 3-2 up). Ended up winning 2-1 on penalties after we had 7 each!

Now i got Old Evertonians in the quarters. Great!

Congrats getting to the Quarters though ;-)

I've bumbled my way through to the quarter finals by paying no attention to sokker and playing my prem lineup in the cup, and cup lineup in the prem....

Anyhow, expect me to go out next week...I've set a team proactively.......

Lost 0-2 to Old Evertonians. I don't think I could have done much better.

I am out tonight. I have set tactics, and even removed a slightly injured player.

Clearly setting myself up for a fail

Out of the cup and two injuries to boot. And a tactical flaw as I played most of each half with missing men...

Oh well......

I guess with your teams cup history that reaching the Semi-finals doesn't mean an awful lot ...

We won the FA Cup for the 3rd time in a row! It was a tough battle for a 1-0 win tonight though we dominated the good chances, hit the cross bar, hit the post from a penalty and missed four 1 on 1's before we scored at the fifth time of asking. A slight change to the defence saw us restrict them to a few good crosses which our keeper dealt with brilliantly and only the single 1 on 1 so we hung on to gain the trophy and we look forward to a re-match on Sunday!
