Subject: morale confusion

Anyone know why, having won a Div lll title for the very first time, my supporters are depressed???

Yes!

According to the devs..your supporters are all EMO :)) and its their way of showing gratitude!

To make it serious ...I believe it has something to do with the fact that you have a big fan club and the team's division is under the expectations!

Utterly stupid though. He has done the best he has ever donw and he's losing members and has bad morale, so he's also down on income. Its all very well having pretty animation but some common sense might go a lot further.

It's actually pretty realistic though. If your team make it to a play-off to get promoted and lose you are going to be pretty upset.

Appreciate not all elements of realism should be incorporated in to a game, but i don't mind how the fan mood works.

I kind of agree with that in not getting promotion, but when you do and get hit with fan base mood and losing sponsor money in the next division - you end up managing when to promote for the wrong reasons imo.

My experience of that is even then, you gain money fro better ticket sales, and actually from fan mood if you promote "too soon" because it won't be rock bottom even with several losses.

Mine's down to just 2 now :-( I think that is ridiculous considering I won my division and only didn't get promoted because of losing a playoff (and I had a player sent off). I won my cup game too and on the back of that it's gone down ... that's just plain silly ...

I still disagree :) It's harsh, but I think realistic.

Really? How the hell is that realistic? My fans should be expecting promotion this season if anything yet they are basically saying they have no confidence. I 100% don't agree with this ...

... anyway, it's up to 4 now :-)
