What do people think the best training approach is?

I am currently training pace but I'm effectively a defender trainer for the moment as I keep switching between pace and defending training.

But, which is the best approach to training in people's opinions and why?

Fwiw, I'm not able to change my approach to training any time soon as I have a player I'm hoping will be my first double divine skilled player as he's currently 16 in both defending and pace.

Cheers,
Troy

I think that defenders also need technique ...most users switch training to get all around players ...for example:

Train 2-3-4-5 weeks Pace, then Technique 4-5 week, then Defending 4-5 weeks or some users switch every 1-2 weeks :)

My approach is depending on the focused player...so I tend to focus on 2-3 maybe 4 players. If they are 16-17 ...I train pace (is the hardest to train and that is why I train it at low ages) Then I focus on the main skills (defending in your case) then at 20 I get to secondary skills...and after I get back to the main two (if I want to get them divine or super divine).
