Subject: Junior coach

Do all of you have Unearthly junior coaches?

No I've never owned one! I currently have a magical yc, but will be downgrading to a Brilliant shortly ready for relegation next season

For the majority of my successful seasons I never had a youth school open. Only reopened it for something else to do

Does anybody know what the difference between say a Brilliant, Magical or Unearthly YC would actually be?

Not with the new youth system, you could tell the difference with the older system not sure you would of been around then?

I've just checked your team and didn't realise you were that new so the coach I pointed out in the previous thread will be out of your price range I guess?

A incredible yc will be sufficient for you and this is what I would recommend for the time being. Once you have established your self in div2 you can then upgrade to a brilliant or even magical!

The guy below is currently on the market I have my eye on him as an assistant the wage is as low as it goes really for a incredible coach so he might sell for 60k again though a lot less than you might spend on the coach select

I've got a magical on 22k a week. Price to go to unearthly too expensive in my book.

I flick between two magicals; 22k and 29k.

After wasting millions over the years on trying to get unearthlies via coach select, my last 7 attempts have yielded 2 successes at £34k a week salary each. Press it at your own peril though..

Maybe the difference between magical and unearthly is negligible, but I figure it is there for a reason so I might as well go for it... 4 out of my 5 coaches are unearthly now.

Edit:

3 more presses of Coach Select and I now have 5 unearthly coaches, so that is 3 unearthlies in my last 10 attempts.

Sadly, it is another feature of the game I won't be using. Much like the tactics page..

I haven't used the tactics page for sometime - most of my variations tend to be adjusting player numbers and rejigging lineups for injuries/suspensions.
