Subject: Pitch Maintenance

As the old saying goes, buy cheap, buy twice.

Angel grass is all you need, then can forget about it.

I do have to maintain Angel grass but maybe once every 2 seasons? I am not 100% sure.

I've spent nothing on maintaining mine . You would have played more games on it due to cc though?

Maybe that’s why, I know a couple of times it’s been in the 80’s.

How often do others check the pitch condition? I cant remember when I did mine last but it was 80%, and apparently worse condition pitches increases the risk of injury (in game). I performed maintenance this morning.

above 70 is fine

I was going to up this thread, as i ended up getting the best grass, but my condition is never 100%, and have still been doing maintenance here and there. Mine is currently 68%.

Think i'll keep doing maintenance, i don't get that many injuries so maybe it is working?

I was never completely sure how it works but I know the more expensive the pitch, the higher it's baseline. So an Angel Grass pitch can't fall below a certain level. They get damaged on home matchdays and then repair themselves. Pitch maintainence is just a repair boost.

I played last night, but want to get it to 100%. Damn I hope Kowal never get tp the prem again with their pitch! :/
