How much extra % training do you get from a Cup match compared to a friendly please anyone

My thinking is this if a player can play 60 minutes and 90 mins in 2 cup matches might be the same as 2 x 90 minute friendlies. this way it would be 15% (1/6th) more training if played 2x 90 minutes in the cup.

Even if it is'nt it should be to give more incentive to get through a cup game and not purely just train youth.

Rather me play my youth for 90 mins in this match and loose i might get through playing a couple of nice players for 30 mins, then bomb out in the next match playing youth 90 mins when my opponent is stronger than me.

Training efficiency for all official matches (league or cup) is 100% for a player that played in a trainable position for 90 min or over!

For friendlies is about 85 %! Players that play for the NT or U21 get training bonuses!
I had a debate over this and the percentages ware there...but I cant seem to find them.

That's cool, so it is as i said above if what you are saying is right :)

Going to have to correct you on this one. Training for a single match, cup or league is not 100%. You only get absolute full training with a player playing in both cup and league, however the benefit to the player being in both games is small, and still better to have two sets of trainees than player each player twice.

Yes i think i've heard this before, said proberly by yourself.

So playing 90 minutes in league is what about 90% training?
does this mean friendly is about 75%?

What if a player plays 90 mins in a league match then 30 minutes extra time in the Cup , i no extra training is'nt given if played the 90 minutes in cup then went to extra time.

There are 100's of pages on this topic across International forums. I believe Greg has said he will never give out the percentages, but information has been poked out of sources. You'll have to go hunting for it because i don't know :B

Pretty much it. There are no precise figures anyway, just guessing from snippets of what has been said. I wouldn't expect new information either as that sort of thing does not happen anymore.

As another side, for those that don't know, extra time does not give any training.

Switching which position you are training is a total pain!
I have gone from defenders to midfielders but I still need to bring in a shedload of players in order to get my squad balance right for training. That will teach me for switching ;-)

Well strikers love tech aswell so you could train that or everyone loves pace, but with passing & PM it really makes you have to pack team with mids, so i recommend training tech if you have younger strikers and put them in midfeid in friendly, or pace for now until you get the players.

Good advice ;)

does anybody know how long roughly a player aged 27/28 would take to pop technique and whether that is even possible?

Thanks.
