Subject: [U21] Lets get organised!

Qstarw [del] to All
What I mean...we have quite a few users that know how to train and I think that if we stop all training the same things we could get a good balanced team!

So if we have 2-3 users that try to gather our best defenders (youth), 2-3 going for mids, 2-3 going for fwd, and 2 for keepers :) We can have a good team. If we want to change training...we swap with someone from the group! :D

Who is in...and what do you train?

1. I will go first: Strikers! - I will sell all other talents and wait for our next stars to show up! That way I can gather the best ST talents in England!

I have 2 nice England strikers....so im on strikers too.....

What we need is 18yo Defence & Mids, we have Strikers and a Keeper sorted.

We have a nice 19yo Defence and 1 Striker.

im starting to train more into midfield than striker so here,s hoping. :P

I know how to create a great DEF farmer
;-)

Defender training is fine for me... got s great prospect with me right now.
2014-10-14 16:39:55
I also train wingers...

We need some Playmakers with Passing and some defence to play CM to come through......we only have Ensor in the 18yo group so far.
18yo Defence is thin....

We have plenty of 17yo & 18yo keepers
we have plenty of 18yo Strikers

Well, i'll be training all my own juniors with an unearthly coach and the best coaches.

I am prioritising talent over position and already post my whole squad on a regular basis in the 'England Prospects' thread.
2014-10-14 19:04:51
So you sell when they need to be trained in defence pm or striker? or it dos'nt matter to you, because they might one day be in the main England squad anyway just not the under 21's?
2014-10-26 00:32:10
Here is why I like my team :)

Average age: 20.6
Foreign players: 10

Main team, 22 players
Junior team, 23 juniors - most promising Connor Addy - age 16 good [7] GK -17 weeks to go - 2.75 talent - came as unsatisfactory

Now here is my question...if we have players that can be promising for the NT but keeping them means they won't get fully trained ...should we sell? Lorre the question is for you. Here is who I am talking about:

Rod Hoyles, age 22 - will soon pop pace if I train 1or 2 weeks
value: 583 050 £
wage: 5 100 £
magical [15] form
height: 182 cm, weight: 69.1 kg,
BMI: 20.87
bookings:
formidable [11] stamina unsatisfactory [2] keeper
brilliant [14] pace magical [15] defender
good [7] technique formidable [11] playmaker
average [5] passing very good [9] striker

He now gets technique training but defense is not in my training plans. Does selling this player to get him trained help the NT...or not? And how do I know ...that if I sell him he goes to a def trainer?

1. You never know where he would end up.
2. I would never ask anyone/tell anyone what to do. Everyone owns their own team/players and are in their right to do whatever suits their own plans best. I will always give advice though what is the best way ahead for each player that could be a part of the NT future.
3. How much would you need the player in your team? How much money could you get? How much would you needs those moneys? There are lots of reasons to make choices, no formula to suit all teams.
4. To play for the NT Hoyles would need a lot more tech. He would be safe with you for a while.
5. If you had a buyer on hand that would train pace, tech and def and you wanted the cash I`d say sell.
6. For your own team you could build a fine def mid. He will probably not reach high enough levels to play that position in the NT.
7. Two seasons of tech, one season of pace and almost another one with def training could see Hoyles reach the NT at the age of 26. That is if his form is high enough.
8. It really matters only if we make deals where to sell. For example if Gibbage would have picked him up he could make it.
9. In 3 out of 5 transfers he would end up with some knobhead hardly training him at all and he would be lost forever.
10. So the key is: To know a lot of managers, what they train and then who wants to train players up to the age of 27-28. They would need to appreciate the development of NT players ahead of making a profit.

I mostly agree with your points 2 and 3 Lorre. Qstarw is the No1 reason I don't train English players.
2014-10-28 22:52:09
Why, he is'nt the manager i am... you should open a junior school and wack a half decent coach there, all you need is that 1, and 1 to 5 million can sort alot out :)

Lots and lots of striker trainers when you only need 3 strikers a season (2 x main 1 x spare) we need 5 defenders and 5 mids a season.......
