Got 6. I've been really lucky with it recently but now I've got the numbers up to 29, I can start pruning a little. The aim is to never go lower than 24.

Wow I have never ever had above 20. I think the highest after all these years I have had is about 18.

What is your current list like?

Ivan Nicholls 18 weak [4] outfield 32

Rubbish, almost 21y

I had a gap of 5 weeks where I wasn't pulling anyone, so I've just let it fill up by not sacking whoever I get. There's plenty of rubbish but the plan now is to always sack the bottom 25-30. I can't even get close to fitting them on 1 screenshot.

Some of the players aren’t worth keeping imo Camus, I doubt a 17 yr old good is not going to be useful to you?
2024-11-02 17:15:45
Absolutely, and they won't be kept, but I wanted to build the squad up because if you're spending big on coach wages, it makes financial sense to use it on as many players as possible.

Yes and no, I’d think wasting £600 per player each that’s not going to be useful is not worth it? The 17 yr old good that’s due out soon will never be any use to you and unlikely to be saleable? I may be wrong but I. Just trying to help you save a bit of money ;)

Last season I was having to keep players I'd have otherwise sacked to avoid forfeiting in the youth league.
I see the logic in keeping the group small, but you can also win the YS game or mitigate the costs by brute force.

£390,000 a season for the coach (I think mine is closer to £260,000)
£234,000 a season for 30 permanent spaces

You've got more players being pulled to hit that target and break even.

Do you get money or benefit from the youth league though?
2024-11-02 20:16:09
It helps the talent evaluation. Plus I'm competitive, I try to win at everything.
2024-11-02 20:39:07
Maybe I should join the league again, is that confirmed about talent accuracy?

I'm pretty sure it's in the rules somewhere.
If you've got enough players I don't see why not.
2024-11-02 20:42:22
Yes, but not the size of better evaluation of course.... some say its rather big

The more matches the better bonus
