Yeah. Like having some influence over just a few juniors.

There are so many pros and cons to all systems of course. Before, it was great having talent known when pulled, but you could be pulling an 18yo brilliant or a 20yo one. Infuriating. But I do think whatever option there is, there has to be a little dangler of unknown, or else that would be boring too.

Knowing the age now kind of makes logical sense, but it means so many juniors that join are just worthless. There's no dangler there to wait and see and build that suspense.

I think junior games as they are, are kind of pointless. But I like the idea of the more matches they play, increases the chance of knowing a skill they have at present. I understand the skills aren't generated til the end, so it wouldnt be easy to do that.

So many things, to give those who invest time in the game a small edge.

It certainly isnt a recipe for success having the core of the game only 1 person can deal with. It is also now old code as game is 22 years old and the main me has had no major changes in ages.

At the moment I have nothing to look forward to in my youth school, I have 3 due out in a few weeks so I need an influx of some players to continue in the league soon. I have been lucky in the last season but I cant afford to waste money staying in the league with players that aren't worth keeping.

Your player salary is >4x mine, and you are worried about wasting £2k~ a week on keeping juniors you don't need.

Thats not the same thing as I said, I make a weekly loss of £360,000 before income from games, if I lose a game my fan mood gets hit so badly that my gates fall a lot too, this then puts a lot of pressure on my finances. I also don't see the point in keeping any juniors that will end up 20 or a high 19 yr old even if a good level to start off with? Many in the junior prem do but my oldest players are 18 atm and thats only 1 player who comes out in 4 weeks. As my Nan said look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themself. ;)

What you have explained about your finances to me seems completely fair, and we all have to budget accordingly. Should you be able to maintain an infinite wage bill? I don't think so.

Only these 2 shining brightly at the moment. Shame about their ages, but at least it will be the start of the season.

I try to be careful with my finances because of what I explained. 2 seasons ago my crowds were really bad all season and it was a serious struggle. I also have to try and buy. Couple of upgrades this season. ;)

Temple could still be very decent given he comes out so early season.

Today's intake, great to get 2 x 16 yr olds but actually feel both are worthless? :(

I sacked Kingsley, I kept Rogers but he will likely be no good either tbh.

I got 2 and both are rubbish. 4 weeks without anyone even remotely decent.
