My keeper is of Level 12 Outstanding. I've noticed that he's constantly gifting my opponents a goal a game with ridiculous fumbles etc. I appreciate that if I say what level of keeper do I need, people will probably say Divine, but is there any thoughts on what level of keeper I should aim for with what I can afford? Thanks.

mine is formidable...but has unearthly pace :)...and I base my team more on the defense instead of the keeper...at the U21 however...its a different story all together. There I have a superdivine :D

Depends on the division....

I'd say Brilliant at least in div 2 , but when you can afford it you really could do with 2 of them and play the 1 best in form maybe keep your outstanding and play him when he is in divine form and your brilliant is only in excellent form or somthing of that nature...

Jeremy Blomfield is only in good form, for only a outstanding keeper in divison 2 that is not good man.

Thanks for all the replies.

Btw, if he were good, do you think I would have asked the question in the first place ;-)

In my opinion the assumption it's unfair because if a Superdivine goalkeeper guaranties no goals, we'll have all 0-0 matches in the top leagues
:D

I think a superdivine goalkeeper is the best choice we could have because it's of course the top level but also on a matematical point of view helps to grow up the statistics. I mean, more power to the strikers too.

I think sadly the wages are the evidence of how much a player could be powerful.
( Pay attention to respect all primary skills if you can afford )

Again, what's about your defensive system?
Do you play with higher line defenders or not, are you aggressive?

I found a good tactic based on the player you have could help the goalkeeper to rest virgin :)

GKs are really only the last flip of the coin to stop goals, arguably the least important position on the pitch, but often the player that is the difference between winning/not winning with small actions.

A GK in form is much better thing to have than a particular level. I've always had divines for years though.

All within reason though. Would a divine form 'excellent' keeper save more than a tragic 'incredible'?

Probably the divine excellent would save more than the tragic incredible.

Unless he plays for Mcoi then he is also partly on my wage-bill too and will leak a few at inappropriate times ;)

Probably the divine excellent would save more than the tragic incredible.

But the Tragic one cost 1 pound so you cannot complain :))
