We started with a failure, the good news is that we can do it better.

What do you think about the match?
Is there anything from a tactical point of view, you didnt like?

I know for sure that Mansid is sad more than everyone else here so any comment against him please.
We are a team, we have to be a team.

Losing 4-1 to a country with 6 users, can't really get a much worse start really!

we were unlucky aswell, 4 times the player alone against the goalkeeper didn't score.
They scored one stupid goal at 2' minute, a shoot for outside on the GK, that didn't hold the ball but deliver it on the other striker with the whole defense still.
And one goal on a counterattack with a couple of dribbling, that's really rare in Sokker.

It was a very poor result for sure

But what concerns me most - is what Jimmy keeps saying (& I support him) - that Mansid does not give the wider English community any confidence with his 'people skills'

Mansid does have a negative attitude towards Managers who don't do what he wants, when he wants - then dishes out the excuse that it's everyone else's fault when the results don't go his way

England does need an U21 Manager who has gained the respect of the community & encourages Managers to invest in Junior Schools (even though it may hurt their own Club finances in doing so)

I would open a Junior school tomorrow - if I believed the U21 Coach was experienced & good enough to take England U21's forward - but Mansid is not on that level in my opinion

What we need is an experienced Manager - with good social skills, & has the respect of the community can take England U21's to the higher level they deserve

I do not dislike Mansid as a person - he has a lot of qualities with his enthusiasm - I just don't buy into his demands & excuses

I hope I am proved wrong - & the U21's do great in the future under Mansid's stewardship

lets face it, he is tactically inept and management wise awful, but lets also put it into perspective... no one else decent ran so what can we expect, fair play to him for putting himself forward, at least this gives him a toy to play with which can only help him for his future sokker time. He is trying in certain areas such as the youth schools which can only benefit the whole U21 and NT scene going forward so tips hat to Mansid for that.

A good manager with a poor team cannot do nothing special.
I suggest to start thinking right now to open your Junior school cause when a Manager you like will arrive, we'll have a good team :)

if Mansid agree wee could open a private forum a create a tactical team around U21, so we can discuss with him about the tactics, our impressions and our suggestions.
Other NTs already do the same.

Tactically inept - So if i am then you are , then we all are :)

i learnt from day 1 there..... 7-3 loss to a 2-2 next time :)

Not bad record against the best team in english sokker, i no it's only mainly juniors but these are only u21's that i havnt got much power over training aswell.

i learnt from day 1 there.....
i've asked admin to shut this page im not interested in a slagging match with anyone anymore, i've asked inaam to stop posting in this bit, this is getting out of hand.

People that have ago but don't go for it themselves (evertonians and the rest).
people without a junior school certainly have no right what so ever to say anything bad about me, so say what you like (ncfc)

I made a mistake with the defence pushing them forward to much too soon when i have such slow defenders (i forgot moving cardwell inside he lacked 4 pace levels to keetley and it showed, had to drop keetley because user trained him on stamina for 3-4 weeks pushing his form way down) either way if i got tactics spot on, that game was'nt given me more than 1-1 thats pretty much the level we are at but i expected a 2-1 win and maybe would be sitting here thinking about that silly save there keeper man from Pullen more.

I look at this game as 3 points dropped and qualification buried, but in the corner of my mind i have - we should have won, say we were good for a draw and beat them next time, still gotta now get more from azerbajan and somthing from the might of madagascar, we can sneak 2nd but is it how many from how many 2nd place teams get through?

I do not wish to talk in here as apart from the 2 easy teams we will only come 4th (the position our team is expected to come) i thought maybe 3rd or even 2nd was possible..

evertonians and ncfc must think this is a decent Eng U21 side, i say without doubt this is the worst set of under 21's England has ever had since the very start, certainly since i've been playing....(2007)

Please find it in your hearts to not have a go at me week in week out, i couldnt sleep a wink last night i kept getting pulpatations thinking about the game, wherever i am this last week i was thinking about what players to play & tactics, i went for a walk last night to clear my head and there i was thinking tactics and allsorts.

On another note, enemies & not very nice people criticize and have ago and get personal , good people, passionate people, people that want England to succeed help and offer advice and condolences.
I was distraught about the game...
People do have to realise i & many many countries can train 19yo's to a better level than our 21yo's are at (apart from 1 or 2)

I took over to fix this exact problem.

Next season the players will be alot better then this seasons lot (because our 21yo defenders are rubbish but the 20yo defenders will be miles better, we 1 half dcent 1 in Keetley at 21yo , we have 5 at 20yo this is also partly the problem)

Oh and incase you didnt no the only other alternative (Auriel_C) has moved to England from Romania on the 17th so has'nt even got a team yet and cant use his old team so we would have been effectively mangerless and lost 5-0 no doubt anyway! so you should have gone for the job yourselfs or how can you have a go at me!!

I did that with my number 8 to counteract there only good player and they didnt even play him so it looked stupid that also cost me, last time i do anything to counter act unless topside and i no for sure.. well i threw more than likely 1 point away there.. but gave cameroun 3 leaving it very difficult :( i'm totally shell shocked.
I also had major problems with my tactic editor , now on FF works fine (was on GChrome)

I meant NO bad comments against Mansid, please
2014-11-22 18:43:04
At first glance, the score line suggest it was a really bad result but having watched the game, to be fair to Mansid I can see he had been a tad unlucky, conceded silly goals due to no fault of his own but by mistakes made by the defenders. It could happen to anyone,

The positive points are is he did create some really good clear openings but the opposition keeper was on fire, saving several shots from close range. On another day the score line might have been closer. I really think we should give him a chance to see how he bounces back in the next match.

Manager/s like yourself need to take on the challenge of the U21's

Next season - please give it a go

Thanks guys

I just had my best result in sokker beating padstow 1-0 in the 90th minute with silly pressure at the end not a bad tactic ;) lol

Better atmosphere in here now. TEAM - Together Everybody Achieves More.

Mansid - you'll be fine, just keep working at it. I would have lost 5-1 :( lol
