Woody has at least 1 x U21 WC to his name IIRC. You don't win tournaments without a bit of know how.
This thread is not going anywhere the other thread that Pilot has started is better.
We still have the England Managers worrying about defence and we don`t really have a plan but at least its being discussed.

To be frank reading all this just makes me angrier. During an election campaign where I put proper questions about what are factually perceived failings by BR, I got banned incorrectly and reinstated by Admins. Then BR did not say anything else during the campaign and we watched Pazdz actually try to create interest and answers. Now after the election campaign we are lucky to be 27th in the world? Oh please.......what a crock. We have enough of a user base to be at least at our level user base wise in the world.
You now also state you are not enjoying it? Well you should have stood down then. Factually you have given your own players advantageous training over scouting properly or even requesting help with scouting. You have played 1 tactic for so long that every team we play knows what is coming. Now you are blaming me and Gibbage for what? Calling you out on facts....I mean look at your 20 yr old with the same amount of caps as the current best 21 yr old midfielder.
2 Defenders were found on the TL with ZERO Caps and were easily good enough to be in the top 2/3 defenders for the age group. There is no point in discussing it further. I trained exactly the skills you wanted for at least 3 seasons and then ended up selling a player despite you saying he was the best of the current 21 age group ....form would not allow him to play....but then actually did play Asprilla with the same poor form.
Until you are not in charge we have no chance of progressing, even now you jump down others throats when they try to discuss things or have the temerity to question what you have said.

I know you have a bit of sadness but everything has been said and we cannot change it. In my opinion, the best is to forget and do your own thing, i respect that you always trained many good English players. I propose to go back to it.

Guys, I came back to the game are a hiatus and did so to train English players. I asked which positions were lacking and I have trained players in that position since.
I cannot take the credit for the discussions solely as Gibbage had highlighted things quite a bit further back. For what it is worth I had in fact "Left it" until I read the rant which frankly should have been made in the election campaign. I will continue to train the English players and I am not a nasty guy. I am an ethical person and if I had a player that was worse than another I would NEVER play that play....the best players and most talented players should always play first because the u21 players are the future full NT players.
As the numbers are lower here they are lower in the rest of the world too......we cannot accept a nation as small as Scotland being higher in rankings than us, and we should certainly be inside the top 20 at all times.

To England improve, for now you guys needs to follow the U21NT (watching the matches for example), and charge him if the loss or draw is due to a strategic error on the part of his tactics, players used, etc... and he needs also to have the humility of accepting criticism and seeking to improve and not thinking that he know everything just because he is the U21 coach for years... The longer you stay in a national team, it is normal for you not to seek strategic improvement and to always be stuck with an idea that is probably not working, and getting something in the U21 is complicated because U21 coaches are much more competitive than Senior coaches....
Me and Pazdz are former World Champions, we both play 2 finals also... but that was in the past, time has passed and even today there are strategic innovations in U21 teams, so you can't get stuck in a fixed thing forever, there is always something to learn ... ;)

Been tehre worn the t-shirt, you know why i never had critisim before hmmm i wonder, because i was doing well, a few games slump recently that's it, I am doing way better than the players i have, do you want me to get me fan club to talk to you guys?
Wdp74 the guy who sat in what was it division 5 or 6 for what was it 12-14 seasons? until recently
On the other hand is me who's worked my nuts off to get England as good as possible with not many helping, nothis & piotr have always helped with training english youth too, a few seasons ago wdp74 started training english again, i take criticism of people who can understand the tools i have to work with [the players are not there anymore] you think i don't mail people and try you think i gave up? you mistake me, i am passionate about this game more than most of you always have been
