Lost 1-0 on penalties.

Definitely deserved to lose but penalties in this game are a joke.

I agree, too many are missed.

Shakespeare next round, I really didn’t want to get a bot side…….there were easier ties but it will have to be a take the risk game.

This is the season that just keeps on giving to me, I got Timisoara in the qtr final away.....easily the hardest available Qtr and by a mile! lol

Widzew has been drawn against a familiar club in the next round of the English Cup;)

Actually Elmstead is that side of the draw too. It's a shame he's not active on the forums, his teams is so strong and also still so young! Timisoara has some monster players at 23 yrs old too.

Timisoara have so much potential but keep being relegated from the prem.

They have a crazy strike force.

But a defensive shambles.

Prem run was typically we'll score 2, opponent will score 3.

You have put together a scary set of players, congratulations.

True. I played the game properly in the early days, but quickly found out that unless I day trade, I was never going to be competitive. I did the yoyo in the early days between the prem and div 2, it was hard to stay up and the fans kept leaving after a season of in prem and relegation. This meant I was losing money each year.
I then spent the rest of my time, never buying anyone, home grown players only from my youth team. I didn’t watch games, played the same tactics every week and made sure I didn’t get promotion from div 2. Last season it changed as I had so much money that my fans expectation was to win the league each season, and my fan base was going backwards season on season.
Therefore, I decided to spend some of the money and buy a team. I had to promote last season with the money I started to spend, but I had already lost my first 3 games, so it was an aim of runner up and play off victory. I managed to end up winning the league and here I am.
I clearly over-spent on certain players as I rushed to build a team in 2 weeks. If I would have taken a season to build a team it would have been a lot stronger. But it is not too bad and although this season is test season, it is going ok.

So, I haven’t really played the game much, even though I have been here for years. He probably doesn’t remember, but I thank Bryan at Man United 95-96. He helped me a lot in the early days to understand the game. Sadly, for years I just clicked buttons and read my scores, rather than play the game. But I am still here and starting to enjoy the game more, how long I will be here, not sure, but it will be a fun, few seasons.

You have bought well by the looks of it. Your winger is a monster. It's good to have another high rated team in the Prem, you'll probably finish above me this season but my team is on the decline at the moment and I need to refresh tbh.

Answering to my fans' expectations for the next FA Cup round: "rival is respectable by your supporters, but they expect a win."
