Obviously expecting big things from you.

My supporters are sure of an easy win…… chance would be a fine thing. lol

Won last night, got yet another injury. After getting what I thought was the hardest possible qtr final I now have Elmstead away compared to RTS getting Colne. If I get to the Final it will be the hard way, I will be going full team in the cup now as the league looks out of reach anyway. The 3 current injuries all to my midfield may well take things out of my hands in any case.

Oh and my supporters are sure of an easy win in this match.....lol...really?

I'm sure fan expectations are getting worse. They said expected easy win in my last league game. Anything but!

I had 15 shots in the last night's game. Individuals made the difference though. At both ends. Plus, the mandatory red card and penalty (engine making sure there's no hiccups). Scoreline totally unfair though. But RTS's tactic is poor otherwise.

Wayne, deep down I had a feeling I’d face COLNE FC in the semi-final. I didn’t feel any stress. Of course, I wouldn’t be surprised if this match turns out to be a trap for me.

You created a lot of chances and of course everyone needs luck so the red card definitely killed you. RTS tactic does appear to help him score lots of goals, he's certainly having a superb season in that sense. I don't feel his tactic is poor....I think your tactic was good to create this chances JE.

Without disrespect to Colne, getting him in the semi really is ideal for RTS.....literally everything is running his way this season. I now have 3 main mids out, and now have to play 2 defenders in midfield. The injuries I have got this season are crazy and most from kicking the ball! I believe it's around 12 now.

It was just individual brut force, nothing tactically. All goals were made of mistakes made by my defenders and poor goalkeeping. Without individual quality, that tactic would be laughable. The defence is badly set-up and it's saved by the gk, and the midfield is ineffective and chaotic. Luckily for them, the strikers are clinical and have good tackling skills.

Wayne, this season I have to say that luck is on my side. I’ve had quite a few injuries to key players too, but I’m managing. And as for my tactics since I’m winning, they must be working. I know we have a so-called tactics master on the forum, but the way he manages his club has him playing in Division II. In theory, he’s the best in the world

Could be worse, I could be in Division 3 and struggle for seasons to get out of there without spending millions because my tactics are so bad. Or, embarrass myself when trying to play the best U21's because, once again, my tactics are so bad.

I reckon I am beating you in injuries this season, I’d say this is my worst ever season now already. I literally have no midfielders left apart from 2 :/

3 out for 2 weeks or more now.

Tactically I don’t want to start anything but Piotr is a good tactician, each tactic has a weakness I am sure and maybe JE yours is good against it?

As for luck Piotr I don’t disagree with you but everyone needs luck at times, when I got to the Champions Cup final I definitely had luck in 2 of the games if I remember correctly.

Genuinely though I am waiting for my youths to come through and then I can change things up, I won’t be competing for the league next season, but I am excited to hopefully have some talented youngsters to build for England ……hopefully maintaining my Prem status while I do it. It’s a far stronger league now however, so that will be tough!

I think everyone is waiting for the decent youths to come through at the moment, it feels like a while since we've had any. I'm sitting on my players and money waiting for the chance to refresh.

I’m waiting for Georgie Rice – 17 years old, outstanding [12] outfield talent, skill level 4.

You should never bring the CC Final up as "bad luck" more as "bad choices".
2025-07-27 01:05:22
I didn't I said I had good luck getting there :)

I have Niall Bamford 17 yrs old and should be incredible in 4 weeks with talent of low 3 something. The same day I have Joel Collymore who will be excellent 17 and again low 3 talent. I have a couple after those too, Neil Davies is a 17 yr old formidable now and has 11 weeks left and talent in the 3's. Alexander Menace I hope is a magical due and will be 18.9 with talent at 3.7; after that I am not sure.

Won 4-2 at Elmstead, conceded the 2nd in the last kick of the game so it was quite comfortable tonight. Happy to make final having had to play Timisoara and then Elmstead, others have had a far easier route. Tonight it was equal in ratings, Elmstead have a seriously strong side. Unlucky to you, you have had a fantastic first season though and it’s not yet over.
