Looking forward to the final tomorrow night, hopefully a nice crowd will come. I will continue with ensuring my trainees get full training for the week rather than being full strength for the result.

That's to be expected, you only play full strength lineups if it can improve your GD just before important knock out games :P

Wayne, thanks, but the stats don’t really reflect the game. I could have won this match 5–0 easily. Your chances were basically long-range shots. You didn’t have a single clear-cut opportunity. Every one of my chances was a direct one-on-one between my strikers and your goalkeeper.

I note a severe lack of trainees from wdp in the cup game...

I didn’t play many trainees last night, I will play more in the league matches. I was Skiing this week in France and flying back last night so couldn’t give a lot if time to the match etc.

I will rewatch the game but I’d never expect to score 5 one on ones like Piotr did, I wouldn’t even expect to score 5/5 penalties in Sokker. lol

I have said for a while that Elmstead and RTS Widzew have the better teams, so all the while I am winning I’ll take it as an unexpected success. I am excited about my trainees and looking forward to seeing how far I can take them tbh.

Elmstead certainly have the strongest first XI. But results been below par so far this season. Including 2 losses to me!
