Subject: New season
7-3 win and boom, another season in the prem secured.
Just need to do a bit better next season!
Just need to do a bit better next season!
You can tell I'm back to my best. Barely play and win....back in charge, sort out the tactics, and lose the game...
It doesn't matter when the league is already won ;-)
Might have blown his chance of auto promotion though. Just like the good old days. I'm sure his supporters miss forestbot, who seemed to actually have a clue!
Yeah, would have preferred auto-promotion...as playoffs are a lottery at best...
In the end I'm pretty happy with my season. We still seem to be heading in the right direction which is the main thing so as long as that continues I'll remain happy!
Is this the first time anyone has won every league and cup game in a season?
I guess it's unlikely I'll do it again!

That's good and all but isn't it about time that you do our country proud in the Champions Cup by winning it though ;-)
I keep trying my hardest but just can't seem to do well enough there :(
Rebuild and start again. Clearly your only hope.
Very impressive now England is established. Much better than any Mcoi record at the beginning when it was easy.
Have you taken on an NT job yet?
Have you taken on an NT job yet?
Pfft.
England had many more users than there is now back in the day when I won everything. Also many more active users, but I am sure that was also the case when there was around 20-30 people here.
I think the peak in strength of the prem was probably in the late 20s season wise. There hasn't been a side that has come up from II in some time that I personally would be concerned about, I also struggle to see anyone in the near future winning the prem that hasn't done it before. Some of the sides that have come up from II recently would have never got a look in in the past, 70 used to be the gold standard for what you needed rating wise to have a chance of staying up by these days you can do it in the low 60s.

Yeah i was only half pulling your leg.
Was I the last team you were worried about? ;) i know the answer, i only managed the one win.
But you are right on the second paragraph, it is hard to see how anybody can break in to the established teams. The way i see it is you've got to get lucky with some youth products, or increase your average age to compete.

That might have been the case in the past and in the immediate future, however, there appears to be one or two "new" teams slowly building in L2 who might eventually cause Evertonians and yourself some problems.

nah, i was interested a while back but some of the wretched ways and things i have seen have put me right off so certainly no NT interest from my side
