Are u that blinkered to see that your current boss has been using CIF for TACTICS for 2 seasons and clinging onto a crap in the toilet over a win over Norway?
Our diddy league has no users and yet u languish below us, if that was JM's tenure, pot 2 seeding would be a formality...
JM will leave in indelible mark on your nation in his rise as a scot to the higher echelons, if fergie can do it, so can JM, tbh they've both won around the same amount of trophies and CL experience.
IMHO.

I wasn't asking you ;-) Have you seen his original "speech", it hardly inspires us not to think that he wouldn't try and lose every game ...
Have u heard of sense of humour, or is this a bypass down your way... And I'm telling you ;0)
But, the problem we have with a joke like that is that we have no way of knowing if he were being serious or not as in the main Scots seem to like nothing more than to see any country beating us so why would we assume he were joking?
Think your being a bit naive there, as tbh the majority of scots don't give a fook what the English do, media driven by sky, bbc, tabloids etc.. and a boring old rivalry that doesn't really exist, I,d rather we beat Germany, espana, Argentina etc as that's a scalp and England are no more than a well funded and watched league that in reality still fails to deliver the top top players in world football, and the ones they do develop end up sold to the big guns.
IMHO.
IMHO.
A bit naive? Whenever we play in a World Cup, the Scots all go around wearing the shirts of our opponents.
Lol maybe 50 or 100 is that what you call mass, again switch over from sky, it's not just englerland they do that against, stay off of 401 for a while and try 301 for Robocop III for your light entertainment....
Lol you are funny, but that's about it, we have been above Scotland this season, you started quite a few places ahead of us and we caught you, this season you will drop back, we won't.

We no the Scots dislike the English [it was our ancestors not us!] but we really have nothing against you, and/or you can shout all you want but Big Bad England cannot & will not hear you ;)
History lesson:
We won the WC in 1966, we had a great chance in 1986 under Bobby Robson if Cheats never prosper [Argentina went on to win it] & Captain marvelous remained un injured we would have won i am sure.
We then we franked the form by getting to the Semi's in 1990. [opponents Germany again went on to win it] there are great teams that never won the World Cup, and that was a great team. (Gazza, Lineker, Pearce, 'you'll never beat Des Walker' The legendary Captain Marvelous Bryan Robson, Terry Butcher, John Barnes & Glenn Hoddle.
People say Shilton but he waited until the player kicked the ball before he moved for a penalty, the Germans knew this a just hit it hard on there favourite side. I remember calling for a young Dave Seaman in 1990 rather than a 40yo bad at Penalty's Keeper, perhaps Bobby's biggest mistake?
All you have got is Archie Gemmill and that goal ;) nice goal though https://www.youtube.com/v/g0NT6aUwN8c
Gascoinge was the most naturally gifted player i have seen play for us in my life-time and you know this after he showed Scotland [when he was nearer the end of his career and more unfit] how much better he was than every player in Scotland still, & this ;) https://www.youtube.com/v/g0NT6aUwN8c you had us on the ropes in that match [respect due] and Elastic Dave Seaman saved the penalty and within minutes Gazza did that, it was the end of a great era in England International football 86'-96'
Granted we should have won Euro 96' dam unfit Gascoinge & dam penalties. For the 3rd time our opponents went on to win it [Germany] oh the pain. I bet Portugal are more gutted, but England simply have to win the Euro's 1day.
Then we had the non EU player max at 3 & the overall foreigner rule at 5 allowed to play at any 1 time, this included Welsh Irish and Scottish players & all European players of course, this is what has cost us not having it.

Mansid if I go the the casino and roll a couple of dice I'll eventually get a double six, you know what I mean?
How about you explain to the English users how you turned a 6-2 win over Norway into a 1-0 defeat a week later? If you want to cherry pick games we can all do that.
Oh and by the way stay out of my thread. I believe that is against the rules. Have a nice day.

Omg! Stop reading the Sun newspaper. I've never known anyone who would wear the strip of any England opponents.
I thought you didn't want me to talk in here! but you do ;)
Well for a start Norway went up 3.8 points average, in 1 game, we didn't deserve to loose, and we had a key player out, so i tried Summerfield in 'the hole' (won't do that again)
Players form went down a lot for key players which is unrealistic after a 6-2 win, The goal came from a horrendous back pass, and these last 2 friendlies i have to try slightly different tactics/players so i am ready for the qualifications, i bet other U21 teams are doing the same and it throws up some funny results.
Walcott was out of form and perhaps not ready but i thought that tactic was so good i had to see if that was the case , now i no players over tactics balance more & that is what friendlies are for.

Do you not feel the only reason for your club success is that all the good managers in Scotland either left (Vastelwood, St Johnstone) or went inactive (dandy)?
On that basis, is your best hope just to ride things out in the hope that other NTs hit a downward trend so you just overcome them with having been around for longer?

You're being blinded by the stats here mrs_cabbage; mini-skirts and what have you.
From the outside looking in, managing in the current sokker Scotland climate may seem a bit daunting, due to the JM/AM Punk dominance, but Sokker Scotland is a breeding ground for managerial talent. For sure, a couple of the greats are no longer with us, but we cannot forget the likes of rtg, reekie and mambostaggie who are all currently working under cover in sokker England. Special mention for EED here, as he has managed in every corner of this sokker world.
