I know, but Latvija coach is a friend of mine and we're not reading each other forum for this match :)
i was curious about his first game.Tomorrow i will see the match and see if he is any good.
Yesterday night i wrote a long comment of the match, but my pc decided to turned off :/
Anyway, did anyone see the match? What do you guys think?
I like to speak about it, good and bad things too!
Not a lucky match to be honest. At first tackle our best striker got injured and in first 18 minutes we missed 2 1v1 vs their goalkeeper.
They had no real chances except a couple of shot by far.
I think tactical idea was good, but because of we played with many 19 and 20 years old players, they lack of tactical discipline, and many times they did not respect the position (most of all in throw in and corner kicks), but we can't nothing for this point.
Our defensive line worked pretty well, and at the moment is our best area.
I'm going to try something different during these weeks.
If you guys have any tips or suggestions, i'm here to hear you.
As i said during election period, i think community is a key point, and i really care what you think.

Next week we're going to play vs Turkey. They did 61 as average mark in first week of "new ages" friday and destroyed argentina.
That's a really high mark.
Obviously we've to prepare to play vs all kind of national team, so i think it's a good way to try something different by first match.
We'll keep playing with 19-20 years old to give them as many extra trainings as possible.
I think Turkye will play as U20 too, as its coach told me, to prevent injuries right before their final stage of World Cup

You played mostly 21 yr olds against Latvia.....which confused me... Hopefully the idea is to build as you said.
Yes sure, we're waiting to get as many updates as possible.
Many 20 and 19 years players are not updated yet, since august/september.

Just as i promised i watched only 45 mins of your match,Im not planning on criticise you but for me it looked weak.The biggest problem for me was the help line.For the 45 mins i did not see one chance of you scoring and you should start on that .

Anyway, as you can imagine 19yo and 20yo skills are low, even lower because we're in the beginning of the season after the change of ages.
The biggest problem in my opinion is the lack of youth schools. I would show you our database.
We don't have any decent keeper U20 (maybe only one, but not top level too).
We have 3-4 U20 defs (it's almost impossible to play with 5 defs, or we will play with a 4 pace-10 def defender, and i guess it won't be a good choice ^^ ).
We have some good mids, probably our best position, but we really lack of stamina on this players, and they run out of it really fast.
We have some goodstriker (with anout 11 as strike skill), but still to weak to score 1v1 vs divine goalkeeper.
Our database is poor, i'm scouting, but i think players are already all in the database.
So, we need to train more, and better.

What a comeback!!! still a long way to go with the younger players needing to be trained well, if so could be an ok campaign next time... well done
True, and we play an hour 10v11 without our central defender.
Still many mistakes, but they're due to low pass, pm and tecnique most of all.
Next friday we'll begin the U20 Mini WC. Tsolias drew us vs Latvija again :)

unlucky tonight , had most of the play and gutted my player deflected for the goal :(

Really.. That was really unlucky.
We lost a man for a red card again after 20 mins, we kept pushing them in their half, we scored an own goal, we missed a couple of 1v1 and at the end we hitted the crossbar.
Let's keep going for next match, and let's hope to be a bit less unlucky :)
