week 02 - Qualifichy World Cup Österreich
Well, we have now come to the opening match as always is a difficult game to play.
This week we have known the players and their potential, we have done work updating and first contact with the owners, also to decide the programs for personal training for the players.
Of course not everything can be perfect but we ready to go; even if in the coming weeks we will finish all things.

Debut really unlucky! ; (
First time really nice with a beautiful goal on a free kick for Leather and other chances.
Second time with many imprecisions and where we took 4 goals, a change really incomprehensible!
But beyond all of the draw it was the minimum result that we deserved and unfortunately Benning wasted yet another opportunity to just 90 minutes !!

Now we have time this week to continue our work in the hope that especially in the midfield department will improve the general conditions of the form of some players.

Very challenging game against a strong and compact Sweden.

Game in shadow and light ..... we say that we deserved to win but as usual luck there kisses never ... in fact another injury Benning our best striker ... :(
We played with a 4-3-1-2 with high pressing midfielders.
But two mistakes that I have highlighted the height of our defense that often kept their strikers in the game and then the position of Leather too far back because I was expecting a different disposition in midfield.
In midfield hurt Moorhouse while good match for Margerison and interesting for Trewhells (which unfortunately do not know the skills)
In attack we have our problems where we're never very concrete
A note on Cummins who made two interventions across.
Let's take this first point and let's get back on top!

A game in tranquility that gave us some good indication for some players never took to the field!
Good test of midfielders Challis made excellent passes filter and also the old Dwayne Wrixon, Yeates very purposeful.
In attack has been unleashed the fury of Scottie Lewthwaite very good percentage shots / achievements.
Unfortunately we have a very serious problem for the goalkeeper. Cummins now is setting the pace and his deputies are not up to, we hope to not pay this gap during the season.

We win 6-2 and we say that our goalkeeper was really decisive for the draw, they have had their chances but caused by too many mistakes in defense.
The expulsion has benefited but we definitely played better and in the end the victory is deserved!
Unfortunately in midfield is the problem because Leather is very good while the other midfielders playing occasionaly
The tactic needs some correction to be made in the central area where there was little pressure, the height of the tips, however, was perfect and in fact we have have had at least four other occasions over six goals!
Benning very bad while Rickett finally incisive but are especially happy to Lewthwaite very good, their relay was decisive!
Now slowly try to regain the positions that concern us !!

Saturday there is Sweden- Austria and any result will be (taking for granted our victory against Nicaragua), we should get in a good position to qualify !!!

Incredible game that happens once every 100 games, we risked to equalize a game we should have won with 4/5 goal difference.
These will need to be happy about the result because in sokker these games are won with great difficulty.

As far as I'm concerned I always try to listen to the demands of the owners of the national players but always protecting the interests of the national team.
Usually we use do not play injured players to avoid a new injury, however, it may be that if the game is very important and does not have other resources might risk to play the player!
It's all about good sense and loyalty of the coach of the national team!

week 08 - Friendly Slovensko U27
Entertaining match, played well by our team but characterized by lots of scoring chances wasted by our attackers. Our opponent has had three good opportunities, but are often born from our pies .
To respond also to tcd_uk has happened that precisely 55 minutes', which I had set for the change tactics if we were losing, he scored.
Evidently the engine at that minute recorded a draw and then the next minute, in which I set the players change, the engine made only ones without changing tactics.
For this reason we played with Spaton in midfield and as a striker Trewhells ..
Tigar the absolute best, he played a great match as well as the young goalkeeper who has been very positive (except for the error on goal)
The defense I deliberately lowered but was a little too static, must do only some movement meeting the ball but overall the line moved well.
And now we continue our journey towards the longed qualification to the World Championships.

Finally a game nice and quiet.

After a long run with the victory today arrive leading the group.
From here on it it is forbidden to make mistakes!
Given the scarcity of our players we hope that there are no injuries and sudden drops in form!
