What does the training asisstant actually do? [available for plus users]

I've heard some theory's and come up with some of my own

Does it train general training in figures set or does it have no training effect at all?
[I guess it has no training effect or plus users would have an advantage] plus it is not mentioned in the rules or I haven't been able to find It.

Is it for merely for seeing the players in certain orders of best for positions? & for another way of seeing your players in certain orders when in your player menu.

I've never really got to the bottom of this and love to know for sure.

I think that training asistant shouldn't have a training effect but just help you for the best position for your players. Similar feature there is also in Sokker organizer. You can change your paramater in both as you like. I remember this when I was plus but I don't know if something is changed.

Assistant is just a way of easily adding up skills on players. Nothing more than that, it's just another stat thing that gives no advantage.

Did you mean useless Imann?
Thanks tavte

It was this in the rules that made me think is there somthing to it?

Training of passing

Passing is most effectively trained by midfielders (MID), the remaining positions train slower. If you want to enhance the effect of training passing for other positions, you can do so. However, it will result in decreasing the effect of training for midfielders.

This means:

For passing, you get most training set on the mid order.
If you train passing set as def, then those defenders will not get as much training compared to training the same players set as mid. When training passing as def, mids will still get passing training.

For ease:

Passing as mid:
Def: 5%
Mid: 100%
Att: 5%

Passing as def:
Def 50%
Mid 50%
Att 5%

Passing as att:
Def 5%
Mid 50%
Att 50%

These are made up numbers no idea on preciseness.

I've been looking at that myself, I think it means that if you train passing with a MID order you get 100% training on the midfielders, (It also looks like other players get some passing training when doing this), but if you were to train passing with a DEF order, you would get less than 100% for the players with a DEF order, but the players with a MID order would still get training, but at less than 100%.

If this is how other users see it, anyone got any idea on percentages? I'm wondering whether it might be possible to train passing on 20 players a week but at say 80% for each player, rather than say 100% on MIDS and say 20% on DEF/ATT's?

I am glad i asked now me and nothis were always wondering, thanks alot Gibb i mean that.

I accidently wrote gobb instead of gibb then ;D easily done as letters next to each other, noticed in time.

Thats good to know and well worth training passing for defenders or attackers when finishing up your mids, now you've said it it's more obvious but not that well worded in the rules, certainly not as clear as you wrote it.
