Subject: Elections

Is it me, or has this been the most boring set of elections in England history.

No discussion, no campaign posts it seems like both candidates have completely rested on their laurels hence an incredibly poor turnout so far.

I didn't even realise elections were running until yesterday, that's the level of excitement that has been generated...

Other way round, we feel we don't need to anymore :) this will be 2nd or 3 time in a row I haven't.
Also that normally caused a few arguments in the past

Plus you only vote against me so best you didn't know ;)
I got 7 votes last time.... turn out is the same but the number of England users is less.

To be honest , the feed back and support throughout the qualifying campaign has been nothing short of boring. I hope it might get a lot more exciting for the world cup...and the next u21 qualifying campaign.....

Apathy like this creates further apathy. It's why the forums are so quiet.

It's your job to try and drum up the interest. Although, I think the forum is very much dying or perhaps dead anyway so the interest that was there in the past may never come back.

I used to comment on all the games played in qualifying, looking for reactions good or bad......

I don't blame the candidates.
Nothis is/was up against nobody.
BR is up against JMPunk and he only entered the campaign when BR already had something like 5 or 6 votes, given he didn't announce it either you wouldn't have known. So basically both elections aren't really elections this time imo.
In fairness, given that nothis got us to the WC, he should have been a shoein for the position anyway...no matter what questions could have been asked of him in this election...

Now that i have been voted back in..... hopefully i can drum up some interest , it is a difficult group but so was the last... get behind me , keep training our players........ and as Mr G says get excited about this WC

i cant do this alone....
