Subject: Season 54

Today we won 3-1, with the new tactic for the defenders.

Drew 2-2 which was a nice surprise as I used reserve midfielders ahead of Wednesdays FA Cup final, no injuries or suspensions. Just need to buy a defender as sub or replacement. Then after that I need to decide which direction the team goes for the rest of the season. I might switch to pace training in which case I will reduce the age of the squad a fair bit to do so.

Transfer market is a nightmare.

Been trying to get a new midfielder, you can barely get anything with £2m it would seem.

Maybe if we started using the 16-21 yr old lists for English players (on another thread) it would help identify potential prospects that may not be getting the full training they need and owners may be tempted to sell?

In my first squad, there where 5 players from U21 and after the break 3 more. This means now i have the youngest team:)

Lost the FA Cup Final 4-3. Was 2-0 down in 11 minutes, came back to be 3-2 up. Somehow Legia were reduced to 10 men, brought on a reserve striker who somehow scored 2 from 2 shots to win the match very late on 4-3! Absolutely gutted tbh, however congratulations to Legia on a good win!

I now need to think about how I proceed with this team, I might change things up. Best winger must go, and I might sell some of my better midfielders and risk relegation.

Unlucky, sounds like a good game for the neutral.

Lost 6-5 after being down to 9 MEN from 35 minutes onwards! Lmao

BR had to beat me at some stage I guess.....I even scored an own goal too! The game loves me tonight ;)

4-0 win. Team remains totally incompetent - both in skills and frankly I still need to invest time to better set up tactics. But am consolidating 2nd in the league which should help the fan club :)

Yes I think despite scoring an own goal and playing with 9 men my team did well to lose 6-5! Lol

Lost 2-1. Puts me 7th on GD at the half way point. Going to need to pick up more points in the second half of the season than have done so far, a total of 6 points at the end would be shaky ground for avoiding automatic relegation.

i won 2-0 with a shady rating...... i felt my opponent should have won but i will take any result training youngsters :P

4-0 win, as last week in the reverse fixture against a bot. 26 shots on goal….

Huge win for me tonight....was nice to have 11 on the pitch! Lol
