After Thursday's training, I noticed that English players aged 18-19 are looking better and better. I'll break it gently to Mac Keane that his U21 days are over.

When I started working with the U21 England team, players of this caliber would have already been called up to the national team. Now they have to wait for the removal of 21-year-old players!

I'm delighted that the level of 18-19 yos are looking better and better. It shows we're making great progress and certainly heading in the right direction. Hopefully this will makes us much more competitive!

Extra competition for managers to get their players into the side. This all bodes well for the future of the national sides.

And one more important point. Many people, while trying to rejuvenate their squads, do so by training young English players!

After the recent unfortunate draw, I've decided to better prepare for the friendly match against Cuba. Hopefully, the new tactics will prove effective.

Today's victory against the U20 Cuba brings joy. Above all, I've started creating new tactics again. The last drawn match motivated me because the game against Croatia is approaching. Now, I want to surprise the opponent every week.
