This week, we are playing a match against Moldova. Unfortunately, the opponent doesn't want to play a U20 match, so we are playing a U21 match. The coach is Alienomo, a very skilled manager who was the runner-up in the U21 World Cup with the Cuban national team.

England defeated Moldova today. We were clearly the better team, yet we only won 2-1. After the first half, it should have been 5-1 instead of 0-1. There were plenty of clear goal-scoring opportunities, but the strikers couldn't find the net. It was only in the second half that we secured the victory. The new tactics are proving to be very effective. I made some changes compared to the previous match, and it seems to be working better. Unfortunately, it's a pity we won't be at the Championships.

Yes, it's a shame you're not in the Champsionships but hopefully you can continue this momentum.

I'm hoping you're still getting decent enough players coming through, that'll set you up for future success!

What is the plan next?

I want to make the most of the U20 player because I see better potential in them. Today, the 19-year-old striker scored two goals, and I can see he has that something special. I intended to buy him, but due to work commitments, I forgot about the auction. I've regained that spark I had before. We're still building a better England.

In a week, with a slight delay, the [U20] "MAMMA MIA" MINI WORLD CUP (U20MWC) kicks off, and I've registered England to participate. There are many strong teams that didn't qualify for the main World Cup, and through this tournament, we'll be giving younger generation players more playing time.
