Just following on from my pace training comment, and a new 16yo that joined me, the legend-to-be Hudson Martins.

Hudson Martins, age: 16, height: 181 cm
value: 22 200 £, wage: 390 £
club: Armitage Shanks, country: England
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

tragic stamina, tragic keeper
average pace, average defender
poor technique, adequate playmaker
poor passing, average striker

Here are his skills when pulled, in school for 7 weeks, 27 skill points...

My understanding is he should have at worst 4.22 talent, and adaca suggested high talent, but his training has gone as follows, and i'm unsure...

First pace pop to adequate took 2 weeks, and he's had 2 more pace trainings and hasn't popped to good yet...

These are all 96% trainings, with 3x excellent assistants.

Can he still be talented? Perhaps he'll go 2 to solid after 3 to good? Is pace really this bad?

He looks a really nice player, I’d say 3 to adequate can happen, pace is much slower.

Collymore with 3.4 talent went 2 to adequate / 3 to good / 2 to solid.

Yeah, i would certainly expect 2 to solid. That gives me a bit more comfort. Pace really is grotesque.

Look at me being all nice to you when all you do is give me grief ;)
2026-03-06 16:51:51
Haha, maybe you are trying to tell me there is still hope when actually he is untalented and you want to see me suffer ;)
2026-03-06 18:01:54
Hmmm now that is a tempting thought right now ;)

You will have to work out which one yourself.......lol

4 pops. 2 stamina. 1 on a fodder player. Although a passing pop on my 29yo England mid.
2026-03-12 07:34:05
7 pops - 1 was stamina. No plops.

Form wise fairly static overall.

Youths 4 up 3 down. Still no confirmed talents and the ones I am keeping due to numbers for the league are all falling to weak or lower.

Rory Nunn had a double pop and got nice pops in quite a few trainees too.

9.... none stamina

Not a bad week.... :P

1 stamina
2 plops

Just 3 pops for me but all to the better trainees.

Does anyone know if 5 trains from magical gk to unearthly gk is ok for a 19 yr old?

Asking for a friend......
