I think Menace is definitely stronger, he has 1 more in pace too which obviously is slower to train.

No doubt Menace is better but while he's going for 400k+, Morton is currently 3k.

I agree that is a good price for Morton.

They are good players, but they are a bit behind, we have stronger ones

If I'd paid 500k for him I'd feel like it was a bit too much. That is a crazy price. Declan James also went very high for what he is.

and Morton goes for £138k, which is a fair price. Inter just got a lot of money.

I'd gladly pay double that for James with any talent info. Only 3 16yo players had higher sumskill than him this season, which suggested good talent. I only pulled out because I saw that he was already trained, so I thought Inter might've checked his talented and it was bad, so he decided to sell. If James turns out talented and is trained properly, he will go for 5-10 times more easily.

Really? His sumskill didn't seem that high to me (though I was only looking at the 3 striker skills). We get 14-15 strikers all the time and it's the end of the season.

It's not only about position sumskill.... at this age talent is more important than +1 or +2 in striker and talent can be suggested by high total sumskill

Top total sumskill this season:

1. 32 / 2 stamina
2. 32 / 0 stamina
3. 31

Declan had 30, including 4 stamina which counts as x1.5 = 6 / 32 total ss

as for ATT sumskill, he had 15... only 16 had more this season, most of them went for much more than Declan

If he was fresh from YS I'd be willing to go double that easily, possibly even x3

Are we talking about the same player with a value of around 18,000?

Player value has no connection with market value :) players with similar value went for 15-20m pounds

If I pay 2m today for a 16 and after season or two get back 10 does it make sense? I’d say yes:)

Paying 10-20 for 16s is a different matter, I never do that, but if someone wants the best / top of age to have a future monster and buys a proven top talent - makes sens as well (best players rarely get sold so its best to gather a future monster team at 16-17)

That does make sense and of course is why the 16 yr olds sell for so much. My current 17 yr old Doyle came out at 16 yrs old and he looked nice back then.

It is very easy to lose a lot of money on 16s though, some people really act crazy ;)

This was Doyle when he came out, his value was 43 334 $I always wondered what he was worth but wanted to train him as the various tools had him as talented, Sokker assistente has talent confirmed as between 3 and 3.6.
