I was so tempted to go for him and turn him into a midfielder but it'd be the wrong move.

How?

I am very interested in him, my only concern is is he talented? There’s no proof of pops. Also he could easily become a midfielder……so long as he’s talented, he has 38 mid points, I would think Bamford maybe the best at the 18 age group and he’s 42 almost 43.

He could easily become a midfielder but it's not the natural direction to take him. Needing to fix that Playmaking would just be taking training away from something that wouldn't need fixing in defence,
