Any idea why we are away to France? I thought the lowest rank played at home?
it's not based on NT rank, it's always based on WC group rank (position/points/goals)
France and England had exactly the same position/points/goals diff/goals scored so no idea what's the next one :P

Heartbreaking 3-2 defeat after extra time to France, unlucky Triglio. Trundle scored 2 but arguably dropped the World Cup with some huge misses and also from the French No.10. I haven't seen the stats yet but our keeper played so well, and the defenders managed several last ditch challenges. In extra time Trundle had 3 huge chances right in the first 3 to 5 minutes. France had a red card and I hoped this might help....however their defenders looked so strong. On the balance of play without seeing the stats the French looked maybe a tiny bit better.
The actual match was awful to watch with 2 deep defences, especially the French.....there were so many long balls.

What can I say, at times they were better, they had chances to score, but we had them too, a little less but they were there, after the red card I thought it could have helped, but only in small parts, I'm very sorry, but now it's over, we took the silver, and once again I lose a final

Unlucky but still an amazement achievement getting to the final.. thank you for getting us riled up and behind you this season ;)
Unlucky, had them down to 10, thought Trundle had saved us with a top draw finish, on balance I thought it should have gone to pens :(
I also thought about going to penalties, but in the end we lost :(
