Subject: Season 70

I still fully expect you to win. Probably more convincingly than last season.

My start is terrible, so I am focusing on training in the league. Yesterday's match shows me that it won’t be easy. Conceding a goal in the 89th minute hurts, especially since I had a 100% chance to score just before that. Despite unlucky results, I am still likely to finish in the top half of the table by the end of the season. I need to focus on the FA Cup to make sure the season doesn’t end in disaster.

Ouch.

I don't expect to finish above you in the table. As soon as I have to start playing my younger players in the league it will hurt my results. I got 20 points from 8 games last season but 15 from the remaining 14 once they started playing.

There won't be any of the youth subs coming in like last season. So you are safe from Toby Steward hammering your players again ;)

Even if I did somehow beat wdp, I will drop points elsewhere that will stop me winning the title.

At the moment, taking a much more long term view of training. It's why wdp is in the position he is in now, no shortcuts taken but the payoff at the end is better.

I was absolutely raging at halftime. The performances this season have been horrendously bad, especially my defence.

i won 3-1 but such a balanced match... 2 teams going at it... was good to watch.. a joy to have my opponent in our league :P
