I haven't watched the game but we only created 8 chances. 1 in 4 for Barnes but his form has dropped a little.

Exactly, we only created 8 chances. The midfield aren't creating much but the strikers are really struggling to break the defensive lines and even when they do, they're not scoring.
And Barnes missed a penalty.

I brought in Tanner because the form of Napier & Sinclair was so bad. He was absolutely useless.

In this game there are too many penalties missed, I have seen triple super divine strikers in divine form miss 3 on the trot.

It looks like maybe we could do with a bit more width sometimes to pull the other team wider and create spaces?

The wing position is completely unreliable. Zaha had plenty of space but if the mids don't pass to him, he can't do much. We were better from 30-60 when he went into the diamond.
I need to go and look at this formation again because I felt like I fixed the problem with the wing coming back too much.

I really prefer a winger to be a wide forward almost. :)

If you commit too much to the attack, especially with a team that sits back like Paraguay, you can leave yourself with no outlet for your defence. That or your attack ends up getting dragged back.

As I said, I thought I'd fixed this problem last season but maybe I changed it back at some point or selected the wrong formation. I need to have a look when I'm at the PC.

This group is getting interesting though, we need to string some wins together. :)
