Subject: Season 71
Suffered 2 red cards but just about managed to hold on for a 3-2 win. However I'm now ravaged by injuries and suspensions so I expect Bramford to win the return on Wednesday.
What an amazing first half of the season though, I was hoping to pick up a point or 2 but to have 22 points at the halfway stage is ridiculous. I fully expect my luck to run out and I wouldn't be suprised if I lose every game from now on. My team really isn't that good.

I think if you re-watch, you may feel slightly different. We may have got a glitch in the game,. did you see your penalty? it wasn't in the box, weird. Nice to see my penalty missing carried on. My tactics were to have less opportunites and score more with 3 strikers, missed some very good chances tbh. Getting Todd injured in the first few minutes didn't help alot.I appreciate if you look at the number of shots you had, you may not agree with me, but my chances were very clear cut chances and it was always my plan to give up posession and chances. Scoring my pen towards the end obviously would have been the icing.
But it is all part of the plan this year to try different tactics and a good learning curve for me. It is normally me that has had the chances and lost out on goals.

You have a fantastic team and you are having a great first season, you have really made this season far more interesting. :)
Afcpaul, no problem — everyone has their own perspective on the match. Your team’s presence has definitely added more excitement to the league. All the best!
Donrt get me wrong, I am not saying I deserved a win or a draw, I was just saying the 6 chances against you were better chances than the 11 I had against Thamesmead. To be honest I should of gone out in the cup mid week also.

My star midfielder, who missed the first 6 or so prem games, which knobbled his form has been back for a couple of weeks and I’ve been playing him desperately hoping it would boost his woeful form and he got a 17 day injury again.

I watched Elmstead vs RTS Widzew without knowing the score as it hadn’t finished. 3-1 to RTS but it could easily have been a draw tbh. Shame as I could have done with a draw lol
You played a very narrow formation vs a wide winger….without watching that couldn’t have helped.
