league expectations takes into account team strength, position in last season, money in the account etc.

match expectations are an old system which only compares fanclub sizes

not saying it makes sense or should be like this, but it's just how this works

So basically because Piotr has a very low supporter number it means the match is seen as easier for us despite the fact he has the best team. So all the times he was not trying and accumulating money his fan base kept going lower….and now we are suffering due to the engine. It’s not fair and I have brought it up in the staff forum.

Piotr has the best team, is favourite for both league and cup and should not be seen as a winnable game for newly promoted side. I also had my fan mood trashed by drawing with him because my fans expected an easy win………..

In essence his team conspires against everyone due to the poor method used for fan expectations.

Completely dominant but the performance from my mids and strikers was an abomination.

Back down to earth with a bump. I lost 3-7 against a team with similar marks. His tactic destroyed mine, and it was different to the last one he used, where he narrowly lost 1-2 to forestman. That's as far as i looked!

Fair play marchboy! I really need a tactic where i actually have midfielders to receive the ball from my goal kicks :D

After today’s match, it’s hard to say anything. Another injury again , it’s a minor one, but the streak continues. The result of the match speaks for itself.

You are having a bad spell but the size of your squad is your choice. Last season on 2 occasions I had 5 injured first teamers and a lot of weeks 3 or 4 of my first 11 out. As for tonight’s game, you dominated so clear,y had awful luck. I do still feel you will win the league……we are probably in the strongest period of the league I have seen and I think we will all drop numerous points this season.

No, I wish it had been one of my oldies. Annoyingly I could probably have played an oldie there instead…..at least it wasn’t Sherringham this time.

I think having a small squad actually makes something like that more likely, because everyone ends up playing more minutes. And I say this knowing I have an even smaller squad than he does.

You think so? I don’t think that has any effect on injuries. I think the game decides how many we will get, the less players we use the more likely a certain players gets injured. I do however think if the game thinks you’ll have 5 injuries you will still get 5 injuries irrespective of squad size.

The injury status in the game for me is one if my biggest gripes….especially since the game changes. You lose far too much training time in players nowadays.
