Subject: Season 72

Won 10-0 last night, think Beer played a few reserves maybe for training. It's still just a 2 point gap at the top....so all to play for. Padstow up next, always tough match as they are strong.

Kowal is always a tough one. He has a good tactic, keeper and striker - the fundamentals of Sokker which if I'm being brutally honest, haven't changed all that much since the game existed. Particularly for the low to mid tier games.

With only 5 games to go, it'll take an absolute miracle for me to stay up.

I managed to field an all English outfield side yesterday, again this season. Keeper being the exception! Keeping a young squad too, so giving all my young-ish English trainees every opportunity to improve will inevitably cost me my Premership status but I'm OK with that. It's probably 1 or 2 seasons too soon for my side but the shows not over until the fat lady sings, as they'd say in the old days!

I only had three non-english players and one of those was a reserve who had to play! Not sure I can sustain this in future as I do not make enough money each week. I now must have a good cup run every year.

Yeah, I noticed you fielded mostly English players, too. Nice one. You have a good team. A good cup would be good. Ive never focused on the cup. I typically play reserves for training purposes and get dumped out in the 2nd or 3rd round.

It would be nice for the cup if you didn't have to choose between training and being competitive. There were rumours of change to this but things going from rumours to happening takes a long time.

I would still train :P

This 4th game should give more freedom for whatever you want to prioritise.

I suppose there are those teams that still train their players and remain very competitive, but I guess their players are older, hence better! I try not to avoid training anyone over 24/25. I think I have one this season but the rest are 23 or younger. I think this has always meant I get spanked in round 2 or 3 of the cup.

It would be nice to have a good cup run. Maybe I should play my stronger players in the Cup and trainees in the league!.

I beat Kingsway 5-2 in a game I dominated but gave away about 7 in average marks.

Yes they play a default tactic. But I'm still very happy. Let's go!

And I've got Rooney to pull tomorrow. How exciting.

A 4-0 win vs Padstow which I was very happy about as they are a very very good side!

3-0 loss. Got chances but Timisoara were better that time. After some decent results, 2 losses on the bounce. Looks like done enough to avoid auto relegation but would like to avoid a playoff this time around.

Avon Gunners - Eudaimonia FC 2:3

This game is trying it's absolute hardest to piss me off right now and I'd imagine Avon aren't too happy either. Random has to be a factor in this game but I'm really starting to question the level of it. I have Outstanding/Incredible defending Mids who can't tackle (any of them). Brilliant Pace defenders who are a joke (check the Avon 2nd goal) and a squad in Magical form average who are useless.
