Was willing the clock away for the last 30mins and going alright until we decided to hand out a late Christmas present in the final minutes..

I think I had over 20 shots, but only managed the one goal. My divine striker had 8 of those shots, too. 1 goal. Useless!

Why does this happen every now and then? Is it my tactics or just an SK feature!?

There's a lot of evidence that suggests that when your team is a lot better than the other, yours can be hobbled and the opposition over perform to level the teams. Kind of games where average players play world class and world class players play like a Sunday league side.

Oh, that does explain these type of matches! I feel I get one every season or so. I thought maybe my tactics aren't working if my divine striker is struggling to score with so many chances!

It was against Shakespeare and they always mess with me! Glad I got the win, despite the all those wasted chances!

I feel your pain, I hit the woodwork more than the target yesterday. Plus my winger just continued playing the ball back to the weak trainee I played constantly giving me heart attacks lol

Shakespeare do that to everyone, they had the best keeper in the league for a long time and defensively they're very well organised.

It looks like Shakespeare might go down this season, and take their 40 year olds with them! They're a bit of a bogey team!

I do feel like once a player goes bot they should revert to default tactics. Will clear them out a bit quicker than it currently does then.

I've made that case multiple times and got no response. I can understand not wanting to remove players from teams but there's zero reason they should be keeping their formations.

Yeah, agreed. Shakespeare have been lingering for too long and still causing pain for some of us :)

What skill decides who wins high balls where both players are standing in the same spot?

Same question but for low balls?

In my opinion a huge part of it is who is in position and set first. I think height has a small influence.

As for low balls. Some combination of defending vs tech.

So in a Def v Att duel, the Def's defender skill and Att's tech?

I seem to lose a lot of both, but perhaps my strikers tech is lower than the defender skill in my opponents Def's I guess.

It's difficult to say. It could be Tech Vs Tech when it's a 50/50 ball.

I'd say that when the attacker has the ball it's definitely Defending Vs Tech.

I don't think it can be tech/tech as strikers will win most of those.

It's stumped me a little
