Played my reserves by accident last Sunday as have been offered voluntary severance together with my team members. Thinking of being my own boss as only just finished the last re-org where they were making me redundant.

If you guys need any IT or Telecoms I could soon be your man. Maybe I should look at contracting too.

Please PM if you have any advice or ideas.

Anyway shame I lost 9 nil but I have set a team this time though I missed the friendly match too.

If you can make it work running your own business / self employed is the way forward. Although it's not for everyone and requires a lot of self motivation and elements of luck to keep it going. Obviously carries bigger risks than being employed by someone else. I've made it work for 13 years now but had been part time a lot longer before giving up the day job!

Online retail. Completely different to your side of things, but have no regrets leaving my accounts based job.

Good luck. My Mrs got made redundant as covid hit. Started up as self-employed and now I have set her up as a ltd co. 2 1/2 years being a ltd co she is doing better than when employed.

I have a friend who has just set up as an IT consultant on an hourly basis. His goal is to help anyone whether that be an hour or a month. Gets a lot of interest from small companies

Buzzyl - I think I will be doing something similar as I have quite a wide IT repertoire with a focus on IT support and Unified Communications.

Is getting crazy!!! This is more enjoyable and exciting than the prem :P

Won 6-1 against bottom of the league. Bit dicey at the start but managed it with a lot of trainees which was nice.

Don't let JensenElla see the marks though he'll have a fit.

It's bad, mate. I haven't checked but I bet there's a Division 3 better than ours.
