Subject: Season 73
Relegation for me, my youth team is so weak this season. Been playing gk outfield and my max strength for weeks has been very good.
There's only 1 relegation slot left to decide and I'm in it! I've got a chance. I need to win and one of 3 teams above have to lose. 2 of those are playing each other.
My junior team, much like the main team just seems to draw matches all the time. Was at one point in a strong position but headed down to mid table now.
Very unexciting in the prem today, all relegation decided other than the final playoff spot, title winner decided. I'll probably get another draw, seem to be a draw specialist at the moment. Not aided by a distinct lack of firepower and need to decide if I want to bring a striker in for the player or take the better long term strategy and hold off on a purchase.
Prem is all set apart from Timisoara and Colne for the last playoff spot. Colne need to win. Timisoara just need to not lose.
Threeway battle for the title in 2:1 between Eudaimonia, Avon and Northern Thistle. They both need to win due to goal difference being against them but a win for me will wrap it up.
Oakley, Chuck, Squeezers and Boston are 4 clubs fighting for 3 non-playoff spots and only Boston are in a non-title decider. Oakley need to win but if the other 3 all get a point it'll be them for the playoff.
Another threeway battle in 2:2 but this one is even closer and none of them are playing each other. Inter, Navua and Moroos all need to win and hope the others don't. Very real chance of a tie at the top and even goal difference not seperating them.
3-way battle to avoid the last playoff spot between Bramford, Craiova and Universitea but it'll likely be Bramford as they need a win against Navua.
No drama in 2:3. Anfield have sleepwalked through a horrendously boring season and while Forest, Kowal and Shanks can theoretically take the playoff spot, it will almost certainly be Forest.
Kingsway, COGB and Linkin Park are all after the last safe spot but they all have tough games. Goal difference means COGB will likely just have to hope the other 2 don't pick up anything.

Stark but fair review of my division. Unfortunately, my rivals don't really have games they can lost in the run in, so i may have to settle for 4th or even 5th. Fine by me though, i'm finally improving my stadium, and have some prospects for next season. I'm intrigued who will promote in to us next season.
I did have quite a lot in the bank too, well, about 1 week of wdp's gate receipts, but we're investing in Armitage Shanks water closet for the years to come.

I think there are only 2 good reasons to even try to promote
1) You're good enough to go up and stay up, so rating 65+
2) Your club is built up enough to financially benefit from it, even if you're going right back down again
It's No2 for me, but I'm maybe 2-3 players away from No1. This international cup has somewhat buggered my plans though because now I need a couple more players, stretching my budget and meaning I can't go ahead with the stadium expansion I've been planning all season.
