Subject: Season 73

The match engine can be incredibly random. Season 73 I beat Squeezers 5-1, in the return match 2 weeks later I lose 2-1 despite them having a central defender sent off after 3 minutes.

Bonkers isn't it.

3-1 win away to Polish Boston yesterday - decent start to the season.

The only cloud was a small injury to my top trainee Henshaw - he stayed on the field but ended up having an 8-dayer, so very annoyingly just missed training this week. Could be worse I guess..

Lost 5-4 in a game I never lead. Tactical blunders from me and hapless defending were the main reasons. No complaints, thoroughly deserved win for my opponents.

I think relegation may be on the cards this season.

I don't think you'll relegate, you have good tactics and that will be worth many points for you this season.

I have made out through to the last 16 of the Champions Cup again, I have a home tie next but every game from now is a tough one tbh. I am not as strong as when I reached the final so I will probably go out either this round or next.

Thanks Triglio, but my team is much weaker than the teams that get well over 80 in ratings :)

I interpret the evaluation in a strange way, in the sense that if one team scores 80 and the other 73/74 I think that with a good tactic they can win, then remember that there are many factors, one for example the shots on goal, sometimes shooting more doesn't pay, and you have to see what shots someone takes, then there are the cards, and I could go on, many factors can make the difference

Luck goes a long way in cup competitions though, red card, injury etc and game can go your way against a better team.

I agree, and I have a strong tactic so always stand a chance which is why I got to the final before aluminium ruined my chances by crocking 4 players in 1 match before it. ;)

It is, but these days I can coast to R3 without too much trouble. Reserves are getting better as a few coming to end of training cycle now.

As normal season wrecker early doors , this one relegates me Trundle, I don't see the point in main internationals with injuries no one gets any training from them as they are our main players, i say they all should be arcade
