100% agree with you, it is being discussed and I certainly think there’s too little benefit from training / injury risk is worse. That injury absolutely sucks for you and with the financial changes to the game we simply don’t have the money to go out for replacements now.

Truth is that in senior NT there is literally 0% benefit for playing in NT, every NT level player will get 100% training at club level anyway.
In u21 SOMETIMES training is useful, but in 99% cases you have to train the player in club on your own (16-20yo) and then if the player has form at age 21 he will get some training. Unless his NT didn't qualify for WC, then he will play friendlies so no training for him.

Injuries wouldn't be so bad if there was plus sides to them playing.
In real life if a player gets injured on NT duty, NT side will pay the club.

I don't want to sound disrespectful (only because I respect you so much) but your season has been compromised even WITH Trundle in the squad. Just like the season before this one. And I could probably carry on...

Sell them, they'll go for a lot of money and you can easily replace them. Other users are happy to have them and deal with their injuries too. Coz, guess what? It's part of the game. Could've happened while playing for your club. Nothing to do with playing for the NT.

Yeah, they had that idea... they wanted to pay the wage of a player, but that's peanuts and I doubt people would care about getting 10k for an injury to their 21yo worth 10m that will lose 3 weeks of training because of injury ;)
As NT is all a bit of fun, I think the best solution is for injuries not to carry back to the club. That's a nuanced difference to making it arcade, as I don't think all players should be available for NT, only ones not currently injured. You could add illogical complexity to this that NT injuries and cards carry but to NT only.
I'm not a fan of other options, like cash incentives as it just pumps money to teams who already likely have it.
I also think stripping any training benefit from NT matches along with no injuries is what I'd do. Unpopular maybe, but as you said, these are better players who are already likely getting max training.

Or I quite like the idea of making an association to your NT. You either opt in or out. Opt out, none of your players can play for the NT. Opt in, and for each cap earned with a player from your youth school - whether you still own them or not - puts you in a table against other clubs from your country.
The team with the most caps per season gets a trophy in their cabinet, and if you wish, you could monetise it.
1st - £500k
2nd - £400k

Won 2-0 vs Padstow, very nip and tuck game. I restricted them to 1 shot but only had 7 myself, I miss my main striker atm……need an upgrade tbh until Barnes becomes ready.
Lost 4-3 to Warta Zawiercie. Quite an odd game - lots of shots from very long range.

Won 2-1 in a tight game. If anything, this game I knew would be tough whereas I should have won the previous, but I'll take 3 points from last 2 games.
