Subject: [U21] Inter

Hi All,

As i've said previously i would love the opportunity to take over from Camus as the U21s manager and try to continue his great work.

Since coming back for my second stint at Sokker i have had a U21 NT virtually every season and getting the chance to take on my own nation would be a huge opportunity. It is an area of the game that i love, as it relies on the community aspect of the game and all working to get the maximum out of the relatively limited pool of players avaliable. I have had some decent results while working with very little, and am looking for a national side with a few more active users than the 12 i currently have in Ireland. I have a well stocked youth team, very good coaches and a few trainees which i plan to add to. I am incredibly active, and try to get involved in the forums as much as possible but acknowledge that it is a lot of work to take on but is something that i am more than happy to do.

I won't on ramble on too much more, but did do a write up in the press notes on the election page if you wanted more information.

So if you want to continue our trend of homegrown coaches then i would love your votes :)

I did think about standing but I would prefer to see someone new like you given a go. I feel you will do a good job, and hope that Camus continues to help in the background as I feel he has made such a huge change to our U21 team, training of the players and the squad strength in general. So also a huge thank you to Camus from me. :)

Thanks, tbh one of the reason i applied early was that i thought there might be a few applicants. I'd like that (obviously situation and time dependant) as there is alot of knowledge and goodwill around the community that id would be silly not to use. Camus mentioned earlier about continuing with some scouting, and i know Jimmy and some others have been tracking the Youth pulls so whatever people want and can do id be really grateful for the support (if i do indeed takeover).

I think the days of many candidates are long gone. There was certainly a time where you'd have a minimum 5+ credible candidates.

It's reflective of the type of people applying. They're not after this job, they're just after any job and will quit if there's any competition. Those are the kind of people we don't want anyway.

True, i would maybe understand that a bit more if it was someone re-applying that had already served serveral seasons but each to their own

Personally speaking I just want the continued improvement of our national teams that’s happened under Camus and Triglio. I feel our current 19 yr olds are going to be a golden generation.

Once you're officially the U-21 manager I need you to go on SA and assign me as the scout, as the database isn't transferrable and I'll need to rebuild it for you. It's probably going to take 2-3 days.
