You need to think about it in terms of potential and gravity.

The level of the league sets the maximum potential fanclub. This has to be done because endless growth can't be allowed.
So say the max fanclub is 2800. To reach 2800 you'd have to be absolutely dominant to an unrealistic degree for a prolonged period of time. And once you reached that point, if you dropped below 100% of that dominance, you'll immediately lose fans. Even if that means winning 10-0 instead of 15-0, if you're not at 100% neither will your fanclub be.

It's not immediate though, because there are limits to how quickly to you can rise or fall. So what you get is gravity, pulling you down or pushing you up continuously until you're where you're meant to be.

In the case of Thamesmead their fanclub is simply too big for the league, so they're going to get hammered until it's at the right level. You can get a general idea of what that level is by how much you're gaining or losing.
If you look at it in terms of Win = Happy then it doesn't make sense, because that's not how it works. That's really the fault of how it's been explained.

I guess that makes sense, but we don't really know if I was at the maximum, although after the 12 seasons I had of winning the majority of games I guess I probably was close to it.

Just 1 loss does seem brutal where supporters are concerned.

My current % are 73%/72%/72% - this is the highest they have been for quite a while. In the past I was lucky enough to have them at pretty close to 100% mainly. I only lost a few last season iirc and my fan mood etc went as low as the 20's%. This in turn made by crowds drop so badly and its been a struggle to get it back up but also to break even this season. :(

And are you short on cash? You could always sell onee of 6 players you have with a £20k+ wage ;)

I am not cash rich like Piotr for example. I have not really traded players etc, I trained long term on previous trainees and will on these too. My older players were bought longer term based on cash flow being positive. :)

The 6 players you mentioned have probably reduced ion wage given I am sure they have all dropped in skill levels.

I'm pretty certain Piotr is sitting on more money than the rest of the prem put together, and then some on top.

The maximum for the Prem will change every season depending on strength. The max for the game seems to be around 3000, I think Borkos said there were clubs in Poland who managed to just sneak above that.

I believe my max was around 2925.....something like that anyway.
2025-11-13 01:06:42
What is it now?
2025-11-13 08:29:19
2869
2025-11-13 12:24:27
That's still a huge number.
2025-11-13 12:31:40
I have no idea what others have so it is difficult to judge.
2025-11-13 12:34:31
I was thinking you'd be nearer 2500. I'm surprised you aren't losing far more fans than you are because that is a very big fan club.
2025-11-13 12:38:16
Yup, 2900-3100 are roughly Ekstraklasa fanclub higher levels. Very, very big FC.

I was very highly ranked in the world as I was always in the top few clubs in the champions cup at that time. I don't believe I had many home games at all. In fact I just looked and when I cam runner up I played away every game including the final.

I get that, that's why you reached such a high level (by beating high level opponents in CC), your country league has too low level compared to you, that's why you're now losing supporters (because you don't play in CC anymore)
