But the players get old, and their value decreases, which means that I'm in a cycle of diminishing returns. Oh no, wait, that's now.

Ok ok, I get bored too easily. I could have won this series 4 or 5 times if I hadn't sold the team again. I get it. But I wouldn't be me if I hadn't done it. So at least I'm true to myself, if not successful :).

Out of interest, how many players from your league game 1 year ago do you still have today?

I checked mine, I still have 4, 3 of them only went last season though.

edit : it appears that I sold the last one last week, the rest went a couple of seasons ago probably.

RedJim gets away with what I'm trying to do, he won the league by changing his team every season. It's a high risk strategy though, and as I'm putting the boy to bed at peak transfer time, I'm always likely to struggle. I blame people for not putting their players on the market during the day. :).
